Courthouse Construction!
The historic Hinsdale County Courthouse, built in 1877, is the oldest
continually used courthouse in the state. Hinsdale County is currently
undertaking a project to stabilize the courthouse. Although repairs are
ongoing, the assessor, clerk and treasurer offices located in the
courthouse are open for regular hours.
Hinsdale County court is open on the second floor of the courthouse,
where the judge and clerk of court offices are located.
