Courthouse Construction!
The historic Hinsdale County Courthouse, built in 1877, is the oldest
continually used courthouse in the state. Hinsdale County is currently
undertaking a project to stabilize the courthouse  and the building is
closed while under construction.

During construction the County Clerk, Assessor and Treasurer's offices
are located in temporary buildings next to the courthouse and are
open M-F, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Hinsdale County Court has been relocated
to the Coursey Annex and is open regular hours,  Wednesdays and
Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
