Nurse Family-Partnership
The Nurse-Family Partnership is a program which can help
you and your child begin a healthy life.
Taking good care of yourself, preparing for childbirth and
then caring for your new baby is challenging! We believe
it will also be the most important and satisfying work you
will ever do.
The goal of the Nurse-Family Partnership is to support you
through your pregnancy and the first two years of
parenting. Nurse-Partners are specially trained registered
nurses willing to provide positive support and education for
you to help you be the best parent you can be.
You are invited to enroll for a Nurse Partner if you are
expecting your first child and have a limited income.
Families who are eligible for the Nurse-Family Partnership
receive:
• Home visits during your pregnancy and after the birth of
your baby.
• Answers to your questions about pregnancy, labor and
delivery.
• Information about baby and early child care.
• Support for family needs and links to community
resources.
• Educational gifts and books.
