Commodity Supplemental Food Program
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program provides
nutritious food at no cost. Food is provided to supplement
the regular food budget. Food supplies available include:
• canned and powdered milk
• canned meat
• peanut butter
• cereal
• cheese
• vegetables and fruit juices
• dry goods
• instant potatoes
• spaghetti
• elbow macaroni
• rice
Eligibility
The income guidelines and household size for Hinsdale
County residents who are postpartum and children five
years up to their sixth birthday are as follows:
1 person — $1,436.00
2 people — $1,926.00
3 people — $2,416.00
4 people — $2,907.00
5 people — $3,397.00
6 people — $3,887.00
Each additional family member: add $491.00.
It is suggested that clients come on Monday afternoon, 1:
00pm to 4:00 pm, however anytime the office is open,
commodities are available.
